Work Orders

Call (860) 871-0886 Ext. 110 for routine maintenance requests during normal business hours (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding VHA observed holidays). Your work order will be logged and distributed to the maintenance staff. Please refrain from requesting work orders directly from maintenance workers. Work orders need to be recorded at our Administrative Office so that all requests are accounted for and the work is appropriately distributed. If there is no answer at this extension, please leave a detailed message that includes your housing complex and apartment number, and your request will be received.

Call (860) 796-8604 for all emergency maintenance requests that require immediate attention, including tenant lockouts. Please be advised that if you call this number for a maintenance request and it is not an emergency, you may be liable for a service fee.

The waiting list for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program is currently CLOSED. However, we are accepting applications for the Public Housing Program and the Pitkat Congregate Living Center. Please review the details of each program to see if you or your family qualify. Be advised that all housing sites under the Vernon Housing Authority are subject to a waiting list at this time.
